No drama was intended. The forum had become virtually unuseable. And had it not returned to its former professional bearing, I wouldn't have returned.

I made a mistake, admitted it, and moved on.

Apologies for giving up so easily. There are so many professional, interesting and helpful people here supporting what I think is the most innovative piece of creative software around.

I also apologize for my intolerant and judgemental behavior towards others, specifically deejays. I'm learning to be more tolerant and open-minded.
Do you feel silly now  It would be best if you write nothing for weeks and come back. Every person who public post and say they are leave a forum returns back again. Only people with strong character leave forum never to return but they are not easy found.
Sorry... I don't understand. Why would "writing nothing for weeks" be best?
oh my god. I cant believe you edited that post to make yourself look like less of an ass.

The edit was for me to better understand his point.

In my opinion, it has ceased to be a functional and professional place for trading ideas, learning Live and music, and helping each other out. I'm sure useful information is being passed back and forth, but I no longer have the desire to try to find it among the petty and childish polls, personal attacks, etc.

Thanks for everyone for the help in the past year, and I hope I've helped someone else out along the way. If the forum regains its professional bearing without the juvenile bickering, I'd love to come back.

For now, cheers!
If you notice, hambone never said "never". He said if it "regains its professional bearing withouth the juvenile bickering" then he'd come back. Sometimes, all that takes is a perspective change. Is there enough value in wading through the crud and finding the gold? Apparently he feels so.

Whata buncha haters!

Glad to see you came back so soon. Hopefully things will get better and we can "get on with it" :D

you didnt need to edit your post , after i had explained what he meant (and it was obvious and in relatively plain english after all) and after you had replied to my translation.

it smacks of a cover up.

I'm just glad I quoted you , or one of your fanboys would accuse me of being a troll for helping you better understand what he said.

Welcome back hammy. what changed your mind? Was it the group hug at camp Ableton? JK!- glad to hear you'll still be around to raise the forum's LCD. And just in time to chime in on my next 'controller' post.
