dude are you on crack, I'm talking about the performance. this isn't semantics its fuckin vocabulary, I don't know why you keep talking about performance and music quality like it is the same thing, or implying that I am.

it's easy to see from my first post that I was making a very basic statement, laptop performers face performance challenges in todays music scene, alot of folk think this is attributed to the fact that they're using laptops, I disagree, I used this video to point out 'as i said i might add in my first post' that these artist are using hardware but still their performance lacks bigtime (it has no passion), so laptop performers can expect the same results from a lousy performance that lacks any passion.

why in your brain would you think my post meant that the visual equates to the quality of the music when i was clearlly talking about the performance is beyond me.

L.M. if your music is great, the best in the world, the best that any human has ever heard before in history then kudos to you, but if while you're playing that music you performance is like those in that clip, then your performance sucks.
how much more clear can one make something that is perfectly clear already.

I think you're operating in the confines of extremes, that's too black and white for me, first of all we almost agreed until you said that i believe better visuals would make the music better, I've said nothing of the sort and in actuality believe the exact opposite. people make great music all day long in there studios everyday, i'm as tired of this argument as you are
suffice to say that you don't differentiate from the 'music' and the 'performance', but I do. I don't think a better performance would have helped those guys 'music' at all, but I do believe that a better performance

If I want to listen to the music I can do it at home in the comfort of my office.

I don't want to pay to see a bunch of people stand around and mimic studio albums while appearing for all intents and purposes to be puppets on strings.
