I dont understand why you serious Mac users get upset. It is all for your benefit. Apple did they homework, aiming certain products at particular market -
this is very true - my in-laws this Christmas who wouldn't have sniffed a Mac 2 years ago were sporting a new Nano, an Ipod touch and a new MacBook for the college student (a female but not a fashion plate at all).
my wife works in the fashion business and they don't make dick selling clothes but the perfume and sunglasses make 'em rich.
