Presentation slides giving a condensed take-home message of the speaker's babble are so passé. BRING THE MIME ARTISTS.

Yes!

So finally the stream comes in 45 minutes later, and they're showing a demo on the iPad. It's probably safe to say it isn't the new one, but I'm going to say either way that I don't care if it's nice to have a place for your fingers to not get on screen, but a bezel will always make a tablet look like an old piece of crap. Bezel is not synonymous with futuristic.

No one lets you do what you can do in Keynote in any other app.
Really? Is that just some, innate law of the universe?? So say I'm in Costa Coffee f-cking with PowerPoint, and I try adding a keyframed animation with a more realistic tween... But ahhhh sh--, a random horde of passers-by and strangers charge at me in a rage, yelling "WE WON'T LET YOU DO THAT KEYNOTE SHIT IN POWERPOINT!" F-ck!!!

Maybe I misunderstood.

I’m a little confused on the iWork and iLife app updates. Says they are free with the purchase of a Mac or idevice. But if you already purchased them in the past are they going to upgrade to the new versions?

Sounds like Heizenberg did the VO for the new commercial.

Huh? I think that would be like the third time I pay for the iWorks (Mac version) apps. The first time I bought them separately in a box before the App Store existed. I lost the disk and there was no record of me having them or a way to download them from Apple. I just said fuck it, and bought them again from the App Store so I would be up to date. Now you’re saying I will have to pay for them again to be up to date?!?!? :x

I also paid for the iOS versions separately. :x

Assuming the servers aren't fucked, I think I'll install Mavericks on my 11" MBA tonight because I don't really do anything important with it.

My friend has been producing music with nothing more than Logic Express for years, and despite me showing him the advantages of Logic Pro 9 and then Pro X (things he would actually use), he just can’t seem to pull the trigger. This past week Express took a dump on him and when he tried to reinstall it the system told him it was no longer supported. I was “Ha ha! Now you have to upgrade, fucker!”

If he decides the new version of Garageband is good enough I’ll be :x
