Exactly.

I really have not tried many other controllers out there, because the feel of most of the mass produced ones these days are not to my liking. As far as the MXF8 is concerned, it is built very well, the knobs, and crossfader have an excellent feel, and the buttons are actually bearings that have a nice feel as well. It basically plays like a quality instrument, a comparison would be that a X-Session is a Squire guitar and the MXF8 is a Gibson. For features, its got its own powerful midi processing, such as the Beatgate, which basically creates a stutter effect in rythym with the track providing that you're using it to send midi clock as well, or have its tempo the same as live. It is possible to map multiple parameters to the crossfader and tweak as many as you want at the same time, I've really been getting alot of crazy ideas with that. Also, the Ratio Sequencer, that feature is just sick, I can make rythyms and paint sounds together in ways that I wasn't even thinking before (allthough I don't recomend using that when you're playing live, its more compositional) I have not owned this piece for very long, and I am still learning how to get more out of it everytime I use it, so it's hard to just say everything you can do with it. But for me, this is a piece of gear that I will never get rid of. I am more than happy with it, and my mixes will never be the same. There are only a few of them out there at the moment, but when and if more get out into the hands of Live users, there will be others saying what I'm saying. Obviously there are many pissed off at Grex, and I understand why, I was seething in anger my self at one point, but all that aside, I think if people got their hands on one, all would be forgiven (possibly)Since you seem to be the only person in existence admitting to actually having recieved an MXF8, could you tell us more about what makes it so different from any other controller?
