Ok I listened to the whole track.

You have a great sound going. There are things to build on but as a tune I believe it is lacking a few things.
The good things:
Nice sound.
Good harmonies. I believe that Trent Resnor would be happy with this sound if he did it himself. it sounds like (at least in my ears) slightly related to his stuff yet different.

The negative:
No sense of progression (leads to boredom in the end)

I believe you could get a really good track by starting the tune somewhere in the middle of the existing tune. Structure it up a little bit more so that you have a sense of progression and maybe add some more harmonic content to make the track stick together as one. (I'm myself really bad at this)

All in all:
Nice parts in the track that could be turned into a great tune and a really nice sound.

Thanks for your comments Magnus! It's interesting to see how different people interpret a track, and although your ideas don't really fit with my vision for this piece I appreciate hearing your point of view.

Good sense of space and mood, though I kind of have to agree with Magnus in that it just didn't seem to go anywhere. Sort of like a nice group of sounds but there was no movement in the song, I could have stopped at halfway and not missed anything. Sorry man, love your stuff, just being honest on this one.

Tarekith, thanks for the feedback! I welcome all comments, good and bad - art to me is purely subjective, so all points of view are valid, and at 46 I'm way beyond being sensitive to criticism, so no need to apologize.

My only point is that I don't see myself adding more structure or harmonic content to this track. It's just not what I had in mind for it. I could see (and thought about) an earlier fade, but I have a fairly high tolerance for repetition and felt the length worked from my pov.

Many thanks for checking it out and giving your honest opinion tho, it's much appreciated.

Hey if you got a vision for the track, then stick to it since that's great. I wish I got some visions as well.
My comments were just how I foresaw that the track could be made into a track that I would love nothing else. Just ignore my comment.
