Howdy
I don't know if this is the right forum for this. I'm trying to understand use of the Stanton DaScratch SDS.3d controller. The c1 is the circular touch controller which, in VINYL mode, should mimic the functionality of a turntable controller. The tech reference state that it produces a "relative CC mesage" as well as stating in the Technical data sheet that it produces a "relative/note data output. This is modified by the "DaRouter" control software as well.
My problem is that there does not seem to be any incremental data being passed, when used to control a track volume or tempo, movement produces jumps in value from one end to another. I've tried remapping the take-over modes (soft pickup, value scaling)
Information on midi output cam be found on the Stanton site. I had previously successfully mapped CC messages to pressure on the Trigger Finger. Is there something I am Missing. Should I wait for Stanton to issue Live presets?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
