New song "Textbook Wastelands"-Dreamy Electronica

Hey guys and gals, I've uploaded a new song.

I let two of my co-workers listen to it and one said "Ahhh, New Age!" and the other said "Do you know what we call this kind of music in Japan? Healing Music."

I know my stuff tends to be a bit sappy, but I hope to god I haven't actually made something that would be considered New Age or Healing Music.

Then again, I think I was channeling some 80's Mike Oldfield when recording those vocoder parts, so maybe they aren't too far off.

Not much else to say beside that it features some guitar work by me. Besides cutting up samples of my guitar playing for a song a while back, I haven't used a guitar for about a year.

Friend requests are welcome, as always. Sometimes I get comments sometimes I don't, but if you feel like telling me that this is not New Age, that would be nice

I've got the song back up. My next song should be up on Saturday. Sort of a harder response to all the wishy-washy music I've been making lately.

Calm indeed. In retrospect, I think it's a bit lame. Oh well, not every song is going to be a winner.

Myspace shows that it's been played 0 times even though my play count keeps increasing. Weird myspace.

My next song is proceeding ahead of schedule. It'll be up tomorrow, and I like it a lot more than what I just put up.
