1.Im using flstudio as a vsti in ableton. im using flstudio basically for drum sequencering and when i decide to play from the very start i flstudio is soundless in the first drum hit. anyone got around this problem yet?? ive been battling with it now for months!
2.btw is ableton 8 going to have a step sequencer? this is really in need!
3. can someone also tell me why there isnt to scissor to cut the notes played
in the piano roll? sometimes i would like to slice some notes here and there. even stuff like note glue etc. its basic things like this i dont see in ableton.
4. fxpansion GURU users, when i turn a knob i dont see any numeric value to know/ measure what i am doing.
5. another GURU question, incase i decide to open my project on another computer, i probably wont expect guru to find all the wav sounds used, so you guys save ur GURU patterns + sounds into the Ableton project folder or does ableton find it for you and save??.
6. when im working on a track and i decide to freeze, i noticed a bunch of waves are saved in the ableton project folder. its there a way to manage this. so i know what to delete and what not to?
7. how do you see how much RAM ableton is using. all i see is cpu usage. i want to be able to see the RAM too.
8. when i add an effect how do i reduce how much that effect is affecting the audio channel. its almost like its forced to be on it 100%. dont know if this is something thats meant to be that way becuz im used to flstudio being about to change how much an effect (E.g a reverb) can affect the choice of audio/midiaudio channel.
i am moving from FL Studio to Ableton 7 cuz i seem to benefit more. with dynamics, sound design flow and especially FREEZE! only been testing ableton for 3 weeks now and im loving it. i hope Ableton 8 will be great news to be becuz i dont expect much from the developers from Imageline Flstudio. their support team seems to be rude so im dropping their software.
