i toggle my channel mutes a lot when i write, and then when i mix later i like to use a lot of reverb/exciter sends... then whenever there is a channel mute toggle, you get this little bit of whatever's muted coming in through the sends. it's really irritating because i then have to go automate the send levels to mute along with my toggles. then when i'm mixing, i have to mix by moving the automation instead of just moving a fader or knob.
it sucks.
please fix it.
thanks

Sounds like you're using you're sends in Pre-Mixer mode. Why not just use Post-Mixer mode?

i have it set to 'post' and it behaves as i have described.
it's toggling the channel mutes that is the problem.

i seem to recall having this problem as well... so i'm guessing the post mixer doesn't mean post mute button??
