'Midi data only' tracks for multiple, layered vst's...

Post by Warminstrel » Fri Nov 28, 2008 4:29 pm

I nearly always layer up a few vst synths to get nice full sounds especialy for basslines.

Just realised yesterday that you can use and empty track for midi notes feeding several vsts at the same time (Set the 'in' on the vst's to be from the dummy midi track).

Sorry if after using live for past 4 years this should be obvious but thought if i had missed it, someone else may have too...

You could just group a vst and have several vst instruments in that one group ;)
This way you get several instruments on one track
