How about midi from clips being able to control any automatable Live parameter? I.e. assigning the cutoff Hz of a filter delay to a midi keyboard and creating your own quantized filter sequence recorded into a clip. Right now, one can only automate that when committing to an arrangement AND the values move slowly/ramp from one "note" to another. My suggestion would allow the values to be imbedded into a clip like any other midi note event and the values would not move slowly/ramp, but jump precisely. Happy to send a more detailed explanation if I am unclear. I KNOW this functionality would simply rock power users as well as newbies who understand the concept.
