s'more thoughts on crossfades

some of this I've posted before.

I'm looking for crossfades between tracks that can be set automatically or semi-auto.

If track 1 is playing, when I click a clip in Track 2 I'd like the Track 1 clip to crossfade to Track 2 over a user settable time and the option to hit on the beat, whether 1,2,3 or 4.

This would also be good to have over multiple tracks related to other multiple tracks.
IE: scene crossfade and with individual Track crossfade control within the scene.
So Scene 1 plays. I click S2 and perhaps T1 crossfades immediately to T9. Then T2 crosses over 2 beats of time to T10. T3/4 crosses to T11/12 over 1 measure. Then T5-8 crosses to T13-16 over 2 measures. But all crosses are timed from when I click S2.
The available crossfade curves should be arc, X and blunt, at the very least.

Most of this can be done now with the envelope editor, but this would be a click method without so much editing.
