Hope some abletonian product managers are looking this topic.
One additonnal business market where ableton live could fit is the video broadcast market, especially in the live studio production or live event.
I see Live controlling nativelly some digital video server (EVS broadcast equipment for exemple) to make specific studio branding, live concert plasma feed, TV shows animation etc...
I think the interractivity is very nice and could be used in video brodcasting workflow.
Clips on the left browser could list the video clips available on a connected server (using video protocol like VDCP, Sony BVW75 etc...) and dropped into scene for mutliple ganged video channel control.
So live would be used like an automation system for live video.
I let you brainstrorm....
