Clips as patterns

Hi. I am interested in working with ableton. So far I have just tested it in a friends studio. However, there is something I would love it to do. I would like the clips in the session view to update clips in the arrangement view automatically. Sort of like patterns in FL Studio or Acid Pro. Is there a way?

yeah it's really what you'd expect to happen but unfortunately it doesn't work that way.
