Rename Plug-Ins

Dear all,

just a quick question. for me its really annoying that my plug-ins (audio units) are in the folder with the name of their manufacture (in live of course), i.e. "audio units / green oak software / crystal"!
I tried to rename em and stuff but there was no way...

renaming the audio unit itself would be cool too (e_ or i_ before the name [for effect or instrument]).

any help on that (or a tip how you guys do this)?!

Hi Thaknar,

it is not possible to rename audio units or the folders they are organized in.

Hi Thaknar,

You can group them into a ableton rack, name the (FX or Instrument) rack and store it as an ableton preset.
