Waves plugs and live

Hi All,

I just installed the Waves 4.0 plugins and while they show up and work in Live, they show up with weird settings (like the gain all the way down). I'm using Live 3.0.3 and waveshell 4.3 VST.

Also, is anybody using Waves Version 5 and Live? Is it working?

Hi,
i repeatedly tried to install and use the waves gold plugin collection (version 4, which does support VST), but they just won't show up in the vst-plugin-folderin live 4.

what i did was this:
installed waves, opened live, no waves plugins in the list. rescanned the folder, still no plugins. then i checked for the dlls, which weren't in the vst-folder i had specified during waves'installation!
i copied the plugins to my vst folder, opened live again, and they still won't show up!

does anybody have an idea?

you have to upgrade to waveshell 5.0
this one works fine with Live.

thank you - but does does liveshell 5.0 mean?
the next version of waves, version 5 instead of version 4? no probably not, sounds like something else...
