Hello.
Since installing the latest version of Live 7 (7.0.12) the 'Collect and save' function does not work anymore. Whenever I tell Live to collect all and save the program displays the usual interface dialogues and a window saying 'copying...', but none of the files used in the project have been copied anywhere, nor have the usual directories been created. The recorded samples stay in the temporary Username/Documents/Samples folder. None of the samples used in other projects are copied. In short, nothing happens.
I've executed a 'repair permissions' on my hard drive, without any result. Also, I've tried going back to version 7.0.9, but the Collect all and save function seems broken as well in this version, which leads me to think that it has something to do with the installation of 7.0.12.
Any ideas?
My machine:
Macbook Pro, Mac OS X 10.5.4, 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4Gb RAM
Thanks,
Peter
Problem with collect all and save on Mac
Hi Peter,
where exactly are saving your project? Could it be you are creating a nested project or save inside your Library folder?
Best,
Jörg

Hi Jörg, thanks for your reply. I'm saving some projects in my documents folder, some of them on an external hard drive. In both cases I have this problem.jok wrote:Hi Peter,

Hi Atypical,
please contact [email protected] with your log.txt attached (users/library/preferences/ableton/live 7.0.12) - also a screenshot of your file/folder preferences might be helpful.
