MPD24 Mappings/Setup
I just upgraded to 7 and i'm pleased to see it recognizes my Akai MPD24 as a controller. I'm using it as such and it's actually the first recognized controller I've used with any piece of software before.
So I have a question it may be an easy one.
To my understanding, the k1-k8 are mapped to the macros. Should it be automatic because it does not work on my system when I try to change a corresponding macro. The sliders (f1-f6) however do work automatically. Is there something I'm doing wrong? As it is now, I'm unable to use the k1-k8 knobs for anything. I had no problem assigning them in Live6.
Thanks for your help.

should work fine, are you using the live preset on the mpd? if so, make sure your rack is in focus, i.e. click on the title bar, so it has a little blue hand...the knobs are laid out a bit weird, you might get used to it, lol!
and in case you haven't got the transport working, but want to, read thru this thread...

Oh, right. Well that's ok then, 'cos I keep both of them as a stock item!ReverendZed wrote:It can be done. You will need the moon-blood of a virgin and a shard of a goat's hoof. When you have these things, we will speak of this and other majicks. Until then I shall tell you nothing.
Is there a way? Or is it just a case of copying the template across to another preset space and switching between the two?
