share any good trance?
share any good trance?
spin off from the trance hate thread, and probably should be in the link your music thread, but I started now, no stopping.
anyone have some good trance/psy tracks to share?
I'm djing a show coming up, and I really enjoy throwing out stuff from smaller producers that has a completely different sound to it than the stuff you normally find. stuff that is good examples of trance. this thread could also act as an example of what good trance is, compared to the shit that people assume it is.
I can start!
www.purevolume.com/dartmouthian is most of my harder stuff. lots of psy influenced trance.

Whirloop! - http://www.whirloop.se/soundsamples/album01.htm - I especially enjoy "Fjäll"
While we're on the subject of trance, the trance from the early nineties and what's now being called trance are pretty much completely different kinds of music. Generally speaking, the older kind is entrancing while the newer stuff is more euphoric (/cheesy) kind of music.
This guy seems to have a fairly good taste in trance music: http://www.youtube.com/user/alienyoshi

but, I do REALLY like your other stuff! expecially your ep and forward. if I had a credit card, that would be gotten! (stupid being a student and impossible to get credit cards...)
