reason sounds bad after i record it in ableton

does anyone have this problem?

when i recorded a reason track onto ableton via rewire the recorded track sounded fine.
then the very net day that same track's quality level sounded horrible. it sounded like a low quality mp3 recording. what's up with that and how can i resolve this issue?

thats not what he's talking about. you recorded it into ableton and thought it sounded great, you came back the next day and thought it sounded terrible. the track didn't change, you did.

weave- I think what they are saying is that you might want to make sure you are careful to replicate all possible variables involved.....examples would be settings within Live, speakers you listen on, and any state of intoxication that might enhance your listening experience the night before. In other words, the non variables such as the same live file playing different in the morning than the night before is an unlikely culprit, unless you have a cruel roomie punking you while you sleep and replacing your good file with an evil sounding replacement .

On a serious note....I'm guessing that when you were listening to the file the night before you were hearing it through the playback as it was being recorded into Live? Maybe your levels were too hot and clipping and when you played it the next morning as a recorded version it sounded bad due to that?

You morons, he obviously doesn't know that he has autowarp mode on. Just click the clips you've recorded and turn the warp off, then they'll sound exactly same.
