Off the grid channel capacity

Basically the ability to record from the master as it's played live rather than everything being forced to grid time. This would enable one to record their compositions as they are played in live performance. As it stands, one has to change one's music and timing from what they've played live in order to fit the grid. An onboard recording app that simply records output without a grid would solve this problem.
