[jab] Problems mapping the transport buttons of the mpd24

Post by bosonHavoc » Fri Jan 23, 2009 8:17 am

i'm having an issue with looper
could someone check it out

it started with using the transport controls of the mpd24 on the mappable pedal button.

it was responding in odd ways..

i also mapped it to the same cc 118 on a padkontroller pad
and i also tried it with a midi loopback channel to send cc 118 from a clip to trigger that pad.

responded in the same odd way... (i'm drunk forgive me)

i also tried with midi notes and cc 20
the mappable pedal button behaved the way it was suppose to.

could a few people try using the mappable pedal in looper using cc 118 to check this.

i'll try to reframe from posting bugs while on drugs lol :)

anyway its an issue with the transport controls of the MPD (assigned to ctrl)
and the global user controls of the korg padkontroller

i have issues in 7 using these controls to launch scenes.. if i launch a scene from those controls it will launch the scene but not select next scene on launch... they worked on my pc but not on my mac running os x 10.5.6
(i havnt loaded beta onto the pc yet)

with looper using those controls
it will record the first pass but then go into play mode and wont go into over dub mode ever.

using any other button to control the looper everything works fine.
even using the same cc data.

Hi,

I think it's an issue of your controller then, and not of the Looper. I'll rename the thread and file the problem as such.
