midi clip to set tempo possible??
midi clip to set tempo possible??
Is there anyway or trick or whatever someone has worked out to set the master tempo within a midi clip?? Anotherwards, start the midi clip and the master tempo will change.

why can't you just do what every one else does and launch tempo using the horizontal scene launch? why must it be a midi clip?
add a new scene, improv or already set up. make sure it is set to launch at the desired tempo. clik the little triangle thingy. boom. tempo launch.
don't like that tempo? launch at a different one. just type it in before you launch it. i don't see how this can be made any easier.

There was a post here that did show a setup like that and I have used it. It involved firing up a seperate scene though if I remember. Guess I'm gonna have to dig deeper into something along these lines though, even just to say I did it nowoddstep wrote:how about midi mapping tempo and then creating a midi clip that sends that cc via midiyoke. Probably more difficult to implement than type- but i think is what I'd do if I was a precision head. I find it simpler to map controllers to tempo or tap it in.
