When previewing an audio loop in the file browser it plays back at its original tempo rather than at the Set's tempo. (Raw is not selected) If I move the tempo of the Live Set up or down, the playback suddenly adjusts to the Set's tempo as originally expected. When previewing while the Set is in playback, everything previews correctly just like in Live 7.
Anyone know if this is a bug or not? Although Live 7 functioned differently, this seems like it should take on the tempo in preview without the Set in playback.
Any thoughts?
[amo] Clip Preview playback wrong tempo in beta 8b5?
Re: [amo] Clip Preview playback wrong tempo in beta 8b5?
Hi,
The behaviour was the same in Live 7. What was added is "Raw". Raw is different than playing a clip at its original tempo: while playing a clip at its original tempo still plays it warped, Raw just plays the raw sample. So, if you warped a track, it will play as warped with transport stopped, but at the tempo set in the clip.
I move the thread away as this is no bug. Please open a new thread if you're experiencing a bug.
