unable to install puremagnetik...or even ableton's 'solid sounds'...
it says - :
'the installation could not be completed - Parse error - failed reading live pack file'
or
'apparantly the document was created by a more recent, and incompatible version of live than this'

except 'designer drums'... which took way too much time to install...
(the pack is 26MB... took 10 minutes...)

Problem confirmed with the Solid Sounds pack.

Which PureMagnetik packs are you having a problem with, I've tried a few and they've all installed ok. I've got them all, so let me know and I'll try them out as well.

edit : purple kit installed... but took 20 mins.
Mutations...
etc...

couldn't install any of these...

Fixed for me in b9, whilst I haven't tried every pack I have tried quite a few including ones that were failing before and they are all ok now.

Some seemed to take a bit too long to install, but I think that was most likely at my end rather than an actual problem.
