I just noticed when adjusting the range in the Map Mode list, the parameter value does not update in realtime. Live sticks at the old value until you start to turn the macro knob... then parameter value jumps to the new value.
Try this: load any device on a track... group that device to a rack. Now map two different parameters to one macro knob. Click the green map mode button to show map list. Now adjust the range for one of the parameters. You can neither see or hear you changes until you move the macro knob.
Not like this in 7... everything happened in realtime making for very easy fine tuning of the ranges.
