Is it possible to route MIDI output from a plugin to other tracks in Live? I have Kore 2 and Reaktor and would like to send MIDI from them to other tracks. I found a few inconclusive threads in other places, but nothing definitive.

Mac? You can create virtual Midi Ports easily, just use one of those as output in the plugin and input in Live....

when u run the plugins as vst it`s possible. when you start them as au it`s not.
just start reaktor as vst-> go on the lane u want to sequence and put it on midi from : reaktor and on the flip menu under it choose also reaktor

Hi, thanks for the reply. This sounds exactly like what I want to do. I'm running Kore and Reaktor as VSTs on a Mac. I am able to select them as MIDI inputs as you described and I made sure both dropdowns are set to that VST. I also made sure that each plugin was set to output midi. However, i'm still not getting anything on the receiving end. I feel like there must be one little thing I'm missing. Btw, should the MIDI meter light up on the receiving track? I'm not seeing any activity on the meter.

What's sending and what's receiving? If you're sending from Reaktor, be sure you have plugin MIDI out selected in the instrument's properties...

Thanks for the reply. I simply hadn't armed the receiving track or switched the monitor setting. So it's working just as you suggested.
