loading a live 7 set, i get the missing files message. i use the file management system to search on an external drive for all missing files. candidates are found and replaced within the project, and i click collect and save in the lower right. next i disconnect the drive and lo and behold, all the files are 'missing' again...the kicker is: this is exactly what live 7 does.
so why, exactly, does the 'collect all and save' button in the lower right function differently than the drop down menu 'collect all and save' function? are they supposed to be different?
searching is still waaaayyyy slow btw. it is still faster just to use finder search one by one and drag and drop from the os.
[frs] collect all and save doesn't collect all and save.

Hi,
I think the save button in the file manager is not named correctly: It saves the set(s) so that the
found samples are referenced correctly but does not automatically collect those
samples into the project.
Best,
Friedemann
