i have a bcr2000 and have attached a double footswith to it.
I have been pleased to get everything working well with looper save one thing:
when I double-tap to stop the loop after a pause equal to my quant, the loop is always erased. the docs indicate that an additional 2-second hold should be required to clear the buffer after a stop.
Here is the way my looper looks when this occurs:

additional information: I have to set the pedal to play a note to get this all to work... the cc implementation is not working. I wonder -- is Live interpreting the note up events as well as the note down events? When I perform the same serquemce of events with my mouse on the Multipurpose Transport button things work as documented.
update:
nevermind, really. I could finally get the CC implementation of the footsw to work on the bcr2000 with these settings:
mode: cc
ch: whatever
par: cc#
val1: 127
val2: 0
mode: toggle off
anything else seems to freak out.
NOTE to ABLETON: using a 2sec hold to erase is neat, but if the clip is stopped you will hear it play for 2sec before it is cleared. I can't think of a cool solution to that one, but the way you've implemented it means I have to mute the channel to clear and I might as well just map a button to clear the buffer, right? I'm only asking in case I missed something.
This looper plug is the single best thing ever for me personally, so thanks for doing such an amazingly thorough and elegant job with it.
b11 looper bug when using a pedal: maybe resolved.
Re: b11 looper bug when using a pedal: maybe resolved.
Hi,
I moved the thread away as there seems to be no bug left, technically.
As for the playback starting when double pressing and holding for 2 sec, nowadays, the playback should only occur between the first press and the second. We can't do better than that: one press means the playback has to start. But hopefully, that happens during the quantization phase, and the Looper start is already cancelled by the second press before it actually starts.

Amaury
