Korg Nano pad and Ableton

It took me some time to figure this out but I can only get the Nano pad working with Ableton Impulse when the pads are set to C4 and above. Impulse needs C3 notes and above. The Bizarre thing is even though I have set up the notes in Korg Kontrol Editor as C4 the note being played in Ableton is shown as C3! Is there som sort of transposition going on that I don't know about?

hi,

different manufacturers have different approaches to what the middle note shall be.
Some manufacturers say the middle C is C3, some (like Korg) say it is C4.
