Hey, guys. So I'm trying to get back into Live after a break, and something is happening with clip envelopes that I don't get...namely, nothing is happening. I try to automate a control of two synths so far with no results. This is in Session View.
Am I missing something obvious that's already been talked about?
Thank you in advance.

You could explain how are you trying to automate them.
anyway it can be related to the 128 limit parameter in live7 , anyway this is solved in live8.
Re: Clip Envelope problems
Well I was just simply trying to map a parameter in an envelope. I found the parameter among the 128, and then created a bunch of envelope shapes. Nothing was happening. I always assumed this was one of the basic functions and benefits of a clip envelope.Tweaking Knobs wrote:Igor L wrote:Hey, guys. That's exactly itLo-Fi Massahkah wrote:In session view the envelopes are proportional to the set value. So if you'd like a filter to open and close, you have to set the cutoff freq to your max limit. 10000 hz for example. When the envelope is at 100%, the filter is open. At 0%, it's closed.
Could this be it?
