Ableton 8 midi feedback stops?

So im testing ableton 8 beta and for some reason when I launch a clip more than once (using my monome to send midi notes) the feedback turns off.
i.e.-
if you press a button to play a clip it's sync'd monome button lights up but then when you repress it, perhaps to launch that clip later in your set, the light goes off.
In 7 the button would stay lit no matter how many times you would press it.
I know it's still the beta but i'm a little scared because i need the feedback for my sets.

Any ideas?
