In fairness this occurs in live 7 as well but when clicking and dragging the track delay value to fine tune mix syncing, audio quality is adversely affected.
Typing the values in gets around this problem but it would be useful to be able to click and drag values without audio going to pot.
Any chance this can be checked out?

Re: Track delay value change disrupts audio
Hi,
This is, indeed, nothing new and nothing we'd do anything about for now, because it's just how the engine works: track delay affects all audio connections in the software, and is not meant to be a real time manipulation feature. It's more of a diagnostic feature, that you should set once for good. If you want to manipulate delays in real time, better to use some delay plugin with no feedback.
I'll move the thread away as there is no bug here. Please open a thread for discussion in the discussion forum, or in the Feature Wishlist forum, if you feel it's important enough.
Regards,
Amaury
