Mapping transport controls to Pro88 controls

Post by Wayne from White Salmon » Sun Jul 25, 2004 4:21 am

I have a M-Audio Keystation Pro88, and I can't get Live to map midi controls for the transport section - Stop/Play/Record/FF/Rewind. I see the controls turn blue like they are available for midi remoteing, but when I try to select them so I can assign the Keystation buttons, they don't 'select'.

I'm able to assign lots of other controls- tracks, faders, etc.

What obvious thing am I missing here?

Thanks!

Hey... i haven't tried it, because i'm not too interested in having that feature... I know that if you want to get it to work, you'll have to use Evolution's Enigma midi editor to change the buttons output... But, i do know that if Reason's rewired in, the mapping is taken care of, and all your transport functions work through rewire.. just to let you know.
