DaScratch? for ableton live?

Hi guys
I was wondering what the deal was with "DaScratch." i dont exacty understand what it does, and what its role would be with ableton live. may i have a quick run-down on what it is and some of its features?

Hello,

well i would basically say dascratch is built more for programms like traktor pro etc. In connection with live it's just another midi-controller. You can map everything you like, like starting scenes, fx-control etc to the different buttons on dascratch. But you will for example not be able to scratch in Live with daScratch...
