I don''t seem to be able to access the xtc effects of pulsar from within
Live. Does anyone know how to set this up.
I have installed xtc functionality in pulsar, checked enable xtc in pulsar
preferences and specified the xtc directory in live.
I can actually see the xtc folder and its directories, but the folders
expand and there are no contents.
I open pulsar, then live. I get the following message:
"xtc plugins are not available while another creamware application is running"
Anyone???

creamware xtc-mode
hi fishtank,
i have almost the same problem with creamware and live.
i buyed a luna II with sfp3.1a a few weeks ago. in sfp-mode all works and rocks. but when i start live with xtc-mode, i am able to browse the plugins, i can open them, but when i do this, my sound on this track disappears!!! no more sound. i can edit the plugins but this wont bring the sound back 'til i deactivate the plugin.
hope there will be a fix from ableton or creamware. does anybody know what the problem described really is?
another thing about your 40 tracks problem.
i installed my system and programs on a RAID 0 (striping) Drive. My Motherboard has a fasttrack promise controller built in with 2 ide 40gig drives connected. the speed i get is realy amazing!! i will try it with 40 tracks and come back here.
my experience is, that two fast drives (also ide) are always faster then the the fastest scsi-drive. Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks = RAID.
today this gives another meaning then 10 years ago...
