[5117] b17: clip view jitter

searched and didn't find anything, sorry if this is a repeat.
symptom: clip view jitters between showing clip and "no clip selected".

1. clip in arrange view.
2. drag beginning of clip so that the selection indicator (yellow section) is partly over the clip and partly over the empty track.
3. clip view flips back and forth between both.
4. status bar flips between clip name, and a progress bar for 'buffering sample'.

this is easiest for me to reproduce by:
1. dragging the first warp marker to the right in clip view. some blank space is added to the front of the clip in arrange view.
2. drag the start of the clip to the right in arrange view. the yellow selected area gets smaller as you move.
3. once past the 'center point' of the selection, continue dragging right and the selection will begin to expand again and the glitch occurs.
