How do you transfer a song created in Ableton onto a CD?

use the export audio/video command (in arrangement view,NOT session view),set bitrate to 16 bit, sampling frequency to 44.1khz and turn on dither(if you use files with higher bit/samplerate than 16bit/44.1 khz that is)

You only need to turn dither on if your original recording was different to 16 bit, i.e. 24 bit.

Go into arrangement view, set your left and right markers (loop braces) to the sections of the track you wish to render (from left to right) and then use the file>export audio command (in Live 7), in Live 6, this is called render audio.

Set the bit depth to 16 bit, sample rate to 44.1 Khz as described previously, and if you're on PC select WAV, if on Mac AIFF.

When you burn this file onto a CD, it will playback as CD audio from your newly created CD disc.
