Please help. I cannont get audio processed in Live from Kinetic via ReWire. I checked the incoming channel for recording and monitoring and still nothing. Kinetic won't even fire up after I hit play in Live. This does not happen with any other ReWire app (Reason and ReBirth). This is also occuring in Cubase SX 2.2. Has this happened to anyone else?
Please help me get my groove on,
Jason
p.s. interestingly enough, I do not seem to have the same problems with my 410 that others here seem to be having with their M-Audio interfaces. Firewire 410 works great with Live.
Setup (currently) PC laptop, 1.5 ghz AMD, 512MB, Win XP, FireWire 410.

Hi Jason,
I don´t have a solution, but I want to say: You are not alone - I am having the same problems (this is also valid for live 3.0.4). Rewiring kinetic into live does not produce any sound in live´s audio engine (although everything regarding the rewire-setup is ok). There are no problems with other applications like Project5 etc.
Regards Ralf

In some sense, I could locate the problem. It seems to be a driver issue. My audio card is an M-Audio Delta66. If I choose the ASIO-drivers in live, the problem appears as described. Choosing the MME/DirectX-drivers results in the processing of kinetic´s audio in live´s audio engine, however, the sound is distorted and unusable. This occurs in live 4.0.1 as well as in live 3.0.4.

This is just to inform you that a solution has been provided in the kinetic-forum. The trick is to install the ASIO4All-drivers which are available under

Now everything seems to work fine with rewiring kinetic into live.
