how do i fix this ?

Post by arbogasti » Mon Mar 30, 2009 9:45 pm

Since my recent update from Live 6 to 7, :

1. i have to push the 'scene-up' or 'scene down'-button TWICE for it to go to the next scene .
In live 6 , when i pushed play on a scene, it would automaticly jump to the next scene. There is probably a setting for this somewhere?

2. In sampler, in the 'zone' tab, i can't zoom. I don't remember if i was able to in Live 6 ...
Now i see everything from C-2 to C8...

Right click on scene - select "next scene on launch".

it still doesn't select the next one ... i still have to manually sellect the next scene before i can push play ... maybe the settings of my UC 33 are wrong ??

if you go into 'midi map' mode an extra button appears on the bottom of the scene launch section. Hitting this button plays the scene you are on and moves to the next.

Saves you having to ammend each scene individualy.

I can be easy to overlook this button as only appears in midi map mode.

this picture :- http://www.live-laptops.com/images/Key- ... n-Live.jpg

..shows the 'scene launch' button just bellow the 'stop clips' button (though as you will see is an example of 'key mode'

There are also some usefull 'up-down' keys which can be mapped...

hey,

i use these buttons (the one's that only appear when you are in midi map of key map mode) to map to my uc-33 .
Even with "select next scene on lauch".. ON .. Live still doesn't select the next scene when i hit play ??

what i want it to do : when i hit play on a certain scene .. live should auto-select the next scene ... so when i want ..i just have to press play for the next scene to launch ...
Now when a scene is playing and i want to jump to the next scene .. i first have to push the "select next scene button" ...i forget jumping to the next one ... i think i've checked everything ... what am i doing wrong ?

Not sure, could be an issue with the controller?

I have a DJ set template i made for my BCR2k/live and sometimes the mapping for launch and monitor fails to work for no apparent reason.

Try starting from fresh on a spare preset/live set and see if you get the same results; may have just picked up a bug somewhere?
