How to reset Live 7 as default program for Live Sets in OSX

I love live 8 but will continue to work in 7 until there are a few revisions

When I click on sets it keeps launching Live 8

I set the default to live 7 in "open with" in OSX and it keeps reverting back to 7

Maybe my computer is telling me something??

this is a good question. i would love to know the answer too.

also if anyone knows a good way to import my old library from 7 without combining the 2.

Try this to open with live 7 -

Right click one of your ableton files and choose "get info". In the window that pops up you will see a section titled "open with" - Change this to Ableton 7 and click the button that says "change all".

This should set all ableton files to be opened by live 7.

At the point where you start using live 8 you may have to switch it back.

No idea as to the library question.
