I have a PodXT Live and for now I'm just assigning one of the preset buttons to control the multipurpose button on the looper until I get something dedicated to control it. I tap to start recording and I tap to stop, no problem there. When I tap it to start an overdub the overdub turns on and the bars turn orange for the first four beats and then back to yellow and the overdub isn't recorded. If I click on the button with the mouse it overdubs as I would expect. I'm not sure if maybe Ableton is looking for a different type of input than I'm giving it and that's why it's not overdubbing properly when I use my XT Live to control it?
I guess what I'm asking is what type of midi input is supposed to be used to control looper?
Also I ran into a strange situation where I hit clear on the looper to start over, and recorded a new section. When I played it back it would play back the first four beats of what I played, and then play back what was played before I cleared the buffer. I couldn't get rid of the old recording. I had to delete that instance of looper and put in another one. Is there another way other than the clear button on looper to erase the recording?
Overall I'm really excited about this new feature and I'm hoping to get the kinks worked out and start using it. Anyone want to buy a Boss RC-50
