Libary will not find Extenal Hard drive

I have most of my music in my external drive but it will not let me locate this in the search, it worked fine on live 7? I have tried re starting mac with exd pluged in and also ejecting and putting in. Anyone know if this is a bug or am I doing something wrong?

your mac wont find it or live wont find it ?

if it shows on your mac then you must be able to find it in your live browser

Thats the thing on the mac it's fine but it will not show in the live browser. It did on 7 so I wondering if there is a bug in the system? At the moemnt I'm having to go into the external and copy things over

please clarify: are you unable to set the library folder to the external hard drive, does the external hard drive not show up in Live´s browser, or are you unable to select folders from the drive in the "missing files/search folder" window?

Hi, The external drive does not show up in live's browser at all.
I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong but in my 7 demo it worked fine I just clicked on desktop in the browser and it was there?

I just clicked on desktop in the browser and it was there

nah, it´s not under 'Desktop', select 'All Volumes' from the bookmarks menu in Live´s browser.
