Live 8.0.1 VST/Keyboard Bug

When ever you have a VST/AU? etc window open you can not use the keyboard to control LIve. For instance Ill be tweaking a sound hit space bar and it wont play again till i click back on the live application window. I hope this wasnt done on purpose. Just to clarify after opening a plug in window and adjusting the plug in the computers keyboard will not perform any short cuts or any other comands.
