4 bar quantization problem

I'm running Live 1.5.2 on an ibook/500 with OS 9.2.2.

Here's the setup and the problem:
-4 bar clip set to 4 bar quantization on Track 1, Scene 1
-another 4 bar clip set to 4 bar quantization on Track 2, Scene 2
-Global quantization set to 1 bar (why isn't there options greater than 1 bar?
-click on Scene 1, then during the first one or two bars of Clip 1's cycle, click on Scene 2.
-At the end of the bar, clip one STOPS playing, NO SOUND is heard, then at the end of the four bar cycle, Scene 2 starts playing.

BUT if you place a four bar clip on Track one/Scene 2, this problem goes away. Scene once finishes it's full four bar length.

I have been having similar problems playing with a Live demo.

What are we doing that is wrong?

I have long long clips of several bars length in 15/8 time sig, with only on warp marker at the begining at correct tempo. (I'm not quite suire how to tell Live your clips are several bars long, but thats another issue and probably my ignorance) They play fine but cut off someimes, because several clips in the same scene have different bar lengths. Its like they get reset every 8 bars, yet the clips are 9 or 12 or 15 bars length. I dont want them to reset unlessI tell them to...

confusing and frustating. Not sure if its a bug or as designed.
