Hi,
I'm having problems running the Battery 3 plugin on a different PC via FX Teleport using Live 8. Live allows me to open an instance of the plugin, open a kit and play for approximately two minutes before crashing. Midi still triggers audio from the plugin as though nothing is wrong, but the graphics on Live 8's GUI will freeze and will not allow me to change anything on its interface. I have to force a reboot at that point. If I open an stand alone instance of Bidule and run Battery 3 via FX Teleport, I have no issues at all. Also, if I open Battery 3 directly in Live, I have no issues... which makes me think something is up with Live 8 and FX Teleport. I had no problems with this combination in Live 7.
The OS I'm running is Windows XP, service pack 3, 32 bit.
M-Audio Delta 66
Steinberg Midex 8
Thanks.
Live 8 Crashes on Battery 3 via FX Teleport...
Re: Live 8 Crashes on Battery 3 via FX Teleport...
Looks like I figured this out... Must have been one of two things I changed:
1- Midi In was set to receive on All Channels. I changed this to only one midi port as I also use midi loopback devices like MidiYoke and Maple.
2- I went to Options/Preferences/File Folder and enabled the option for Maximum Cache Size.
So far, so good...
