Hello guys,
I've set up my Nocturn to work with Ableton (through Automap midi). Everything works fine. Also the feedback works nice. For example, when I set the 8 push buttons to the mute/active buttons of tracks in ableton, they light up when a track is active. Nice.
But I want to use the nocturn to control Looper. I've assigned four of the buttons to the record-add-play-stop buttons in Looper (the ones on the upper left), and some other functions like reverse. The strange thing is, reverse DOES give feedback (press reverse, the button lights up) - but the 4 "transport" buttons do not! This would be super useful. Any reason why it isnt working? Will this be fixed with an update?
Thanks,
Bas
Looper midi feedback
Re: Looper midi feedback
Hi,
I agree with this. Looper is one of my main plugins and it would be so important to have midi feedback about the state of the main-functions rec-over-play-stop.
My contoller is touchosc on an iphone + osculator.
Feedback of other (less important) parameters is working. another important thing would be to reassign the automap parameters. Maybe something changed but when I tried to automap to the looper the main parameters were NOT assigned.
does anybody have any news about that?
