Cant uninstall 8.0.1

I get this message when im trying to uninstall 8.0.1

Could not open INSTALL.LOG file!

I need to use the share feature and it keeps opening in 8.0.1!!!

Have the very same problem since Live 7. Write to the support, they tell you how to do it. It´s a bit annoying as you have to do this every time you are going to deinstall an old version. Hope they can fix this someday.

I actually manually deleted the files, i know i shouldnt but i wanted to use the share feature and i stuffed up when it said what program do you want to use when i opened a share project. I chose ableton 8.0.1 and now it searches for that version and wont open live at all....
