live 4.0 and reason

hi.

please help me!!!!

why i cant start 2 reason songs at the same time when i'm in rewire mode with ableton?

Hey, you!

It's a bug, released with this first final-version. It will be fixed, as u can read on another thread with almost the same subject as you - there we get answers from an ableton-man. He says they are aware of this, and that the next release (soon now) will have a fix for the rewire-issue

Hi!

There seem to be a prob. linking inside this forum - but:

Forum Index->Bugs and problems->Live 4 and Reason Rewired (thats the threads subject)

To see when an updates available (the fix is released with the next update):

Just enter the "help"-menu in Live, there u find a "check for updates"-option. If u click on that, Live auto-check if theres any update available. Or, go to Ableton DOWNLOAD-section - there u can read the latest release.

Hi All,

sorry for disapointing you, but this is no bug and we won't fix it.

I've never said that we will fix the problem with reason can't play
two songs the same time when running as rewire slave.

This thread is about another ReWire issue with Reason that will be fixed within a bugfix update coming soon as Mathias wrote.
It has nothing to do with the fact that you cannot run more than one song at the same time in Reason when it works as ReWire slave.

It is a limitation of Reason. When running in ReWire slave mode you can run only one song at the same time in Reason.
We have no influence on that behavior. I happens with all other ReWire hosts too.
If you want to have this changed or want to know more about it you should contact Propellerheads about it.
